Kite Panama
Panama was a very warm and welcoming city. The average termperature was 28C day and night and the wind was 14-20knots. We did have to travel quite a bit from Panama City itself to the kite spot Punta Chame, approx 85km away. The road are decent but its best to give yourself lots of time and avoid rush hour times. Delays can be 2-4 hours long!
The kite spot in Punta Chame Offers a side on-shore wind with large beach. There can be be larger rolling waves when the tide is high and wind as well. Becareful as a beginner if you are walking as there are sting rays in this area.
We happened to have very good wind for the time we were there, I flew an 8M every day or bad days a 10M. However I was told this was not the normal winds and they are usually 3-5 knots less. I guess we lucked out!

Trip Costs
Airfare - is your responsibility - Arrive at Panama City, Tocumen Airport
Accommodations - budget approx. $100 - $150 US/night (there are more expensive places as well)
Day excursions to the beach transportation only - $175 US round trip
Kiteboard Lessons - $85US/hour min. 2-3 hours per lesson
Food and drink - budget $30 - $50 per day.
